Life Memoires

We made the decision to start working on this idea.

It is inspired by Bjoern's story of how his mother used to write biographies together with family members as a way to capture rich information about their lives to then give this to children and other families to remember and learn more about their ancestors.

There are people offering services like this but it is costly (~10k) and not accessible for everyone.

With the rise of LLMs, we want to build an interactive experience for people to capture their life memoires on-the-go in an easy, lightweight way that is significantly cheaper (100-1000x) without sacrificing quality.

Here are some of the ideas for the initial version:

• LLM-guided exploration into life stories in a simple app
• Combination with photo app on iPhone to include pictures and videos to enrich the memoires
• A simple way to export this into an interactive web experience to consume this lightly like "one story at a time" for children and family members
• An easy way to get a printed version of the auto-biography

For the start, we may start with elderly people because to them the significance and value of capturing this is the largest. However, we might move down in age group to make this already a documentation process of the present moment as people move through life. Also, an exploration we are taking whether we work with people working at hospices to make this documentation easier.

We are starting to build the initial version of this within the next 4 weeks and are looking for the right co-founders to join this initiative.
